Deep Drawn Stamping
Prosna specializes in OEM deep drawn metal stamping. Deep Drawn parts manufactured to your demanding specifications.
Deep drawn stamping is another example of a multiple stage stamping process. In the deep drawn process the material must be drawn in stages to avoid wrinkles, tears, and cracking of the material. The number of draws (press strokes) to achieve the desired part will depend on several factors, some of which are the raw material, material thickness, corner radius, and the bottom radius at the corners.
As expected, the dies for deep drawn stampings can be very expensive to build. Off shore sourcing of your deep drawn stamping components will permit you to not only save on the unit cost of the parts, but also offers to you a substantial savings on the initial stamping die cost. Prosna can also provide secondary operations to provide completely finished components or assemblies.
- Materials: aluminum, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel, and other alloys
